This, in some small way, makes up for the disappointment on Darren's face when they announced that Tim "I always call my own number inside the 5 yd line" Tebow won the Heisman in DMac's junior season. You could tell Darren was thinking "my God, what do I have to do ?" Anyway, a huge congratulations to "Ben" because he was the best player in college baseball this season and deserves every single dollar he will get as a signing bonus.

I'll bet my last dollar Ben McDonald never banged one off the scoreboard in any park he played in...yes, I know he was a pitcher, but he didn't distinguish himself at the MLB level with a 78-70 record...he's just a college baseball commentator for the SEC Network...Benintendi IS the real star and will prove so within 3 years...Benintendi would kill Fenway with that short porch down the right field line and with his opposite field power I can envision many a baseball off of #16's bat banging off the green monster for a stand up double...Andrew went exactly where he can be a superstar if he can deliver the goods....ESPN is all Red Sox/Yankees all the time....can't wait
