good game guys, I'm still excited for this season, WPS!
me too, I think we have a good chance at being undefeated going into SEC play

Any other teams of note in the tournament we start up in, on the 15th?
virginia commonwealth, the team that beat duke in the tourney last year

im out men... PEACE!

G'night Jerry.  I think I'll just watch the end of the Rutgers-Army game, then call it a night-- or a day.  It's closing on 4am for me.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. Good starter game. Get's the team mentally prepared and let's the team know were they stand. Now let's get ready for the next game.
If it turns, burns, banks or rolls, crew chiefs made it happen.

Wonder what the crowd is like tonight
They were quiet when I first got there (the game was about 6 min into first half).....but we started getting LOUD....esp when Pel got his T.

That was my first actual Razorback basketball game ever (besides Midnight Madness).

That was so much fun!!!

Safe is boring. Sweet insanity is the voice saying "I bet we can fit one more in there."

We played pretty poorly and won by 22 points.  I'll take it with the hopes they build on this.
Wins are precious.  (I didn't hear the post game interview, but I HOPE Pelphrey didn't say that).

He's a winner......and a fighter!

So I didn't get to listen to much of the game.  How fired up was Pelphrey, and did we live up to the "40 minutes of Pel?"

Pretty fired up at spots.  Got T'd up once.

Just got back from the game and, well, they need to work on a few things.  Even with the poor to average play, it still was entertaining after the 10 minute mark in the first half.  Pel getting T'd was fun, and there at the end Hill had a couple of just incredible efforts.   Thank goodness for Townes tonight though, keep it up and keep it stable man!

I had a good time and am really happy that my working road trip today allowed me to be in Fay at just the right time for the game, albeit in my dirty uniform and such, but I was there!

40 min's is a work in progress, but they'll get there.  So, no, we didn't live up to it, but you could see it developing.

just watched the game on razorzone.  man, the refs were brutal to open up the game!  they call fouls on Hill just because of his size.  no wonder the guy plays so timid on offense, he is afraid to move.  he was using his body great to get position, had the guy on his back and the ref calls a foul on him.

they shot very poorly in the first half...just brick city to start the game.  surprised that Patsa didn't get a little more pt.  should be fun to see them get better with each game.

hogninja

First game.  Let them get the jitters out with a new season and a new Coach.  Glad to see Pel get a T with the officiating sucking.  Reminds me of Nolan willing to lose some points to gain some.  We may be rough at the start, but we won and Ky lost, so others can complain more than us.  Pel will keep this team pushed all season, so we will be ok.  :razorback:

Absolutely.  Padding a record and going 12-0 in preseason at home vs inferior competition and then getting whipped at Oxford and Starkville is sobering.
I need to be more like my dog...if you can't fight it, screw it, or eat it, then piss on it.
