No one thought this was going to be this hard.  We ran into a team, other than height had everything.  three good shooter, quickness, attacking guards, resilience and determination.  This team could have upset any other five seed except AR.  Because we had all the same plus that pressure defense.  They were well conditioned and handled our pressure well.  But at the end missing those two 3's was indication that our pressure worked at last.  Their defense also stifled AR.  They double teamed Portis and cut him off  the board and forced him to pass. It did not help when he repeatedly missed lay-ups and missed free throws. Everyone else was tightly guarded and could not take a shot and drive.  The life saver for AR was Qualls who used his versatility and athletic ability to get to the board as well as hit the threes when needed.  We won this on our own resilience and good conditioning.  A win in NCAA is a dance for another night that we should cherish.  If not, ask Iowa St, Baylor and SMU.
