this is why I like Kurt Hoover and wish I had his insight.  At Los Al there was a O'Neill horse going off at less than 1/1    Even he said on paper the horse looked very very good  BUT  his thought was why run this horse for this Los Al purse when Delmar opens in 6 days and the purse for this type of race would be 3X higher.  They had O'Neill before the race and he thought the horse would go to the front and win but it ran way back.  If I could look at races like that I would do at least 25% better
