1. Kory Holden, Delaware Blue Hens

Holden was a second-team all-CAA member last season after averaging 17.7 points and 4.2 assists for a struggling Delaware team. Kansas, Baylor, Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Seton Hall are the final five schools for the talented guard.

2. Canyon Barry, Charleston Cougars

One of the best scorers in the country for the first half of the season, Barry missed the final two-plus months with a shoulder injury. He averaged 19.7 points during his final season at Charleston. He's eligible immediately.

6. Cullen Neal, New Mexico Lobos

Neal is attractive for multiple reasons, but two rise above the rest: He's eligible immediately and has two years of eligibility. Since leaving his father, head coach Craig Neal, at New Mexico, the younger Neal has set up visits to Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Ohio State.

7. Rodney Pryor, Robert Morris Colonials

It hasn't taken long for Pryor's recruitment to pick up. He's already set visits to Georgetown, Florida and Gonzaga

Johnathan Williams III, PF, Gonzaga: No Kyle Wiltjer at power forward? No problem. The Bulldogs will miss Wiltjer's ability to stretch the floor at the four spot, but have another capable transfer ready to take his place in Williams. The 6-9 power forward averaged 11.9 points and 7.1 rebounds two years ago at Missouri and will give Mark Few an anchor to lean on inside.

Delaware point guard Kory Holden will take a visit to South Carolina next weekend, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

Holden, the top-rated available transfer in college basketball according to Borzello and Jeff Goodman, averaged 17.7 points and 4.2 assists per game as a sophomore last season for the Blue Hens. 

Besides the Gamecocks, Holden is also considering Kansas, Seton Hall, Baylor and Virginia Tech...

Houston point guard Ronnie Johnson will transfer to Auburn. The 6-foot, 180-pound graduate transfer will be eligible to play in the 2016-17 season.

Johnson averaged 9.4 points and 2.9 assists per game for Houston last season. He transferred to Houston from Purdue, where he was a standout as a freshman and sophomore, averaging over 10 points and 3.7 rebounds both seasons.

Valentine Izundu. He'll walk in graduation at Beasley Coliseum with a degree in social sciences. Washington State gave him a list schools he couldn't go to, one of which is San Diego State. Izundu appealed, and a three-person faculty committee upheld the restrictions last week.

Izundu's problem is that this won't be his first time inside Beasley Coliseum. He also played basketball there for the Cougars as a 6-foot-10, shot-blocking post, and as such he is subject to NCAA rules if he wants to use his final year of eligibility next season on another team. And NCAA rules say he must receive the blessing of his old school to be recruited by a new school, even if he is graduating.

Izundu's other problem is that his coach is Ernie Kent.

Kent has been at WSU for two years, and it hasn't gone well. The Cougars are a combined 22-40 and went 1-17 this past season in the Pac-12. The operative number, though, is nine. That's how many players have transferred out in two years, including all five members of Kent's first recruiting class.

Kent signed a five-year contract worth $1.4 million per season plus first-class upgrades on travel, a country club membership, a $450 monthly car stipend, 14 VIP tickets to home basketball games, four Final Four tickets each year "as needed" plus other bonuses. WSU athletic director Bill Moos recently granted him another one-year rollover, pushing the deal through 2020-21.
