Tax Reform could remove deduction for priority seating

Let's see just how powerful the lobbyists are at getting this removed from the Senate version.  That's huge dollars and I guarantee there are people and organizations who not buy tickets (or buy fewer tickets), if the charitable donation is removed from priority seat pricing.  Now, many businesses can continue "as is" because the whole cost might be considered entertainment.

Yep, not every Representative has a university that this is a concern over, but every Senator will. I suspect it will survive, maybe with a lower rate.

They are also considering a 1.4% tax on investment income by endowments.  That could be a big deal for the Ivy League schools and a few others.

They've got to pay for my tax cut and removal of the inheritance tax somehow....
