A chancellor from the midwest.  An athletic director from the midwest.  A head coach and coordinators from the midwest.  No recruiting in Texas.  No speed.  No winning attitude.

A small, private church-affiliated school with 17 starters from Texas should rarely even be in the same discussion with a state flagship institution when it comes to a football program.  Basketball is different because you need so few players to be successful, but football?  Seriously?  TCU has a better program, better coaches, and better players than Arkansas.  Arkansas may never recover from the Petrino/Smith debacle.  Never.  And what's even more surprising is that the University of Arkansas probably has more students enrolled from Texas than TCU!

Arkansas fans have also been sold a "bill of goods."  We hear from coaches about how good our players look in practice. But Saturdays during competition are different.

New stadiums, hype videos, social media, flashy uniforms do not win games.  Talented players with great coaching win games.  And nobody wants us to win more than I do.  But facts are facts.

And by the way, the media now referring to Arkansas as "The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville" sounds stupid.  My guess is that came from the chancellor who was formerly employed by "The Ohio State University."

Go Hogs!

In a previous thread I posted the state of the program rest soley on Jeff Long's shouders, maybe not, the University board is allowing him to do whatever he wants, rubber stamping his every request, so maybe fan disgust should be directed at them.
