That's approximately how much the bailout, stimulus, auto bailout, and the new mortgage relief plan would cost every man woman and child in America.  When you figure that 40% of people have no, or virtually no tax liability, which means the government just spent $9,000 on behalf of every tax payer in America.

Tell me that isn't socialism.  The government just spent $18,000 on behalf of my house to save banks, auto dealers, and "stimulate" the economy.

If they want to stimulate the economy, why don't they just send my house $18,000 dollars, along with $9,000 to every taxpayer, and require them to send in receipts with their tax return that shows they spent the money on:

1) Down payment (or full payment) of a new vehicle
2) Investment or debt payment to a financial institution
3) Down payment or advanced payment of principle on one's house
Work harder!!!......millions of illegals, welfare bums, multi-millionaire financial CEO's who've trashed their companies, unionized auto workers in Detriot, and other recipients of our governments social programs depend on you.

You just don't get it, do you?

This isn't about helping taxpayers.  TAXPAYERS?  LOL.

This is about creating even more Democrat voters who are dependent on government.  It is about buying votes.  So where DO taxpayers figure into this equation?

Easy.  Their money is being used to buy the votes...

It's great spending other people's money.....but when it runs out there will be assasinations.  I don't doubt that Obama will be assasinated by the time he leaves office....not by me of course, just sayin' it wouldn't suprise me.

I think you may be on to something here.

It would make more sense to give to the people to pay bills or spend since we have a consumer based Economy.
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

The net has to be spread further and further up the chain to broaden the welfare state.  The saddest part is that there are so many willing to sell their vote.  Our last hope is for the mid-terms in 2010.

What's that? Taxpayers? Don't talk to me about taxpayers. You kiddin' me? Taxpayers? I just hope there's any jobs left to create taxpayers.
I don't want you to agree with me because you're weak. I want you to agree with me because you know I'm right.

Yeah, but if they all dont have jobs that means everything fails.  Then we run out and open an ice cream stand, sporting goods store, etc and you are set.  It all will come back some day.
