Most large parcel landowners in Jackson county are farmers too

That's different than it is in Woodruff and prairie counties. Im struggling to come up with more than a couple.

Many farmers up here rent too, but people that own large parcels (Haigwoods, Falwells, Youngs, Rutledges, Nicholsons) are farmers, and they lease a ton of pit blinds.  Some landowners that own tons of land here (John Connor) farm but also lease some of their ground because they own so much.  Many tenants/renters also handle much of the hunting rights/leases too.  In other words, renters in Jackson don't have to look hard for a place to duck hunt.
