Bielema said a few weeks ago that once you get to the final few spots, it'll become best player available. Going by the 247composite, which is completely different than the coaches' board, it has our top remaining guys ranked:
1. Weathersby
2. Scott
3. Jackson
4. King

Zuniga is a late bloomer. Only 247 has him rated to his talent at this moment at a 4*, while the other services have him way too low. He is the 3rd best prospect behind Hill and Weathersby.

Zuniga is Florida bound.

Also rumor has it that Weathersbys mom loved the trip to LSU. Now he is torn.

LSU has some great recruiters.  It'll be a fight.  Good thing our lone stud recruiter is our OL coach.

I've got money on Pittman. Both head coaches have already used their in homes, so I'll take Pittman in this matchup.

I never bet against Pittman, but I won't be surprised either way.

I'm sure the coaches have the linebackers higher on their order than we do. I bet they take one lb for sure and then it becomes best available after that. Which going by this list, would have us finishing with:

1. Jackson or king
2. Weathersby
3&4. Two out of Hill, Zuniga, and Scott

It's probably not a good idea to speculate about whom is better than whom on a forum recruits visit.  We're going to get four good players with the remaining scholarships.

It'll likely be Weathersby and 3 defensive players...most likely options being Jackson, King and Scott.

Not bashing but I'm not sold on King. I think he's already committed but they haven't accepted yet because there is better talent at the position that remains undecided. He's the only guy I'm not excited about.

He's definitely a project guy. But he has good speed and decent size. I won't be sad if he ends up on our list on Feb 4th.

Must of liked it more than loved it, LSU offered a Tackle from Florida today, that is committed to VaTech

I actually like King.  Good speed.  Good instincts.  Played against some of the best competition in the country.  Just needs some time with Coach Herbert.  I want both King and Jackson.

Redwine just decommited. 247 seems to think he's Auburn bound, but this may have an effect on other recruits.

We need as many LB's as we can get. If King really runs a 4.45 40, thats hard to pass up, especially with his height & frame to add more weight. He's a project, but could be a really good one.

I agree. I like King a lot.

The reason we have been weak on linebackers in the last 20 some odd years is that Arkansas has tended to try to make a LB rather than recruiting one. You cannot ever teach a kid to like contact and you cannot teach a kid how to be the meanest mofo on the block. Recruit me some kings and give the 5 years of weight lifting and good diet... and I think you will see some linebacking U take shape.

I'll wait until we know for sure one way or the other. He could always tell a reporter he's not coming and then show up randomly Saturday morning.

Enos is at KJs practice. KJ must not have said no as some think. At least not yet. I dont have a feel for this one. But obviously no one else does either.

I think Weathersby, Scott, and Kendrick are locks at this point.

Now with Hill gone, do we just wrap things up with King, or wait til signing day and see if anything interesting happens with other schools and recruits? If we really want the best available.
