There are 7 in-state freshmen who I really like right now, and 6 are guards:

* Chris Moore ... 6-5 forward, West Memphis / Wings Elite 15U, offers from Memphis, Southern Miss, and Abilene Christian
* Gerald Doakes ... 6-2 SG, Jaksonville Lighthouse / Wings Elite 15U, offers from Texas A&M, Southern Miss, and Abilene Christian
* Davonte Davis ... 6-2 PG, Jacksonville Lighthouse, Wings Elite 15U, offers from Southern Miss and Abilene Christian
* Moses Moody ... 6-4 SG, Parkview / Team SuperStar South 15U, recruiting interest from Hogs, Indiana, others
* Khalen "KK" Robinson ... 5-11 PG, Episcopal Collegiate / ARHawks 16U, recruiting interest from Hogs
* Treylon Payne ... 6-1 CG, Episcopal Collegiate / Team SuperStar South 15U
* Detrick Reeves, Jr. ... 6-2 SG / wing, Marion / ARHawks 16U

There are 3 Hogs on track to exhaust eligibility in 2020 (Bailey, Hazen, Jones), and we could lose probably another two that offseason as well to the pros (Gafford and Perry). From what I'd read and observed, it seems like Moore, Moody and Doakes are the top 3 players from that class. Or at least they are the 3 that people are projecting translate the best to college basketball. I wonder when we will see the Hogs start to show interest in the Wings kids.

And the staff is going to have to sign a couple big men at some point. We lost Trey next summer, and both Gafford and Perry are players that could potentially have early-NBA futures.

Last 2 weekends have been big recruiting weekends for Hogs' staff as CMA, Melvin Watkins, TJ Cleveland, and Scotty Thurman all hit DFW, NYC, VA, Atlanta, and Indy hard to watch all the Arkansas teams (17U, 16U, and 15U) ...

What needs to happen for these players to be considered "receiving interest from Hogs" or "Hog recruits/targets?" Or am I just reading too much into the wording there? I know it might be a little early for offers.

Hogs' staff attending their games is what matters right now, and Hog coaches were present to see all the 2020 kids I mentioned in the OP. Hogs don't offer freshmen like other schools do, with Justice Hill being an exception as he was going to commit on the spot.

Now, that could change given how deep and talented this class is. Moore, Doakes, Davis, Moody, and Robinson are the most likely candidates to receive an early offer.
