Quote from: RWQ on Today at 01:19:04 pmFirst of all, I want to apologize, because I was too harsh in my response to your original post.  My problem with your original post is contained in the phrase "someone with ties to Kentucky did".  You presented it, perhaps unintentionally, as being stone cold and well known fact, when in reality it was nothing more than propaganda from a Kentucky site.  At the time I responded, I felt like you were presenting a Kentucky perspective when I know full well you are smart enough to take anything they say with a grain of salt.  I presumed you did it to present something Arkansas related in a bad light, because you were still upset over letting Muss go.  As I said, that was presumptive on my part, and I apologize for that.
You're right I should have posted "Kentucky fans are saying" instead of what I posted. As far as Muss goes, yeah I didn't want to see him go and honestly up until Cal was named coach, I was about to be done with B-ball. Nice save by JT and HY.
I also love how Kentucky fans are questioning everything they've been fed about Cal now that he's gotten everyone to follow him to Arkansas.
Good times and maybe even better times are ahead for Razorback B-Ball.

Problem is these guys will be gone before I get to know anything about them. Hell I will barely remember their names. How is that good for college sports?

Quote from: Johnnie5 on Today at 03:20:02 pmVery intriguing. I actually really like him, over 30% from 3 also so has to be guarded atleast. I'd be happy getting him, 12 points 6 rebounds in the SEC is solid.
Cals son was on Vandys staff last year so their is a connection.

Hustler on Ven-Allen Lubin

Lubin becomes the ninth player from the 2023-24 Commodores to enter the portal.

QuoteWhile injuries delayed his Black and Gold debut, Allen-Lubin got rolling towards the end of the season, recording back-to-back double doubles through the Commodores' final two games. He put up 25 points and 11 rebounds in Vanderbilt's home finale against Florida to go with 21 points and 10 rebounds in an overtime loss to Arkansas in the SEC Tournament.

The goal every season is to get 2/3 at home, and avoid getting swept on the road.

Series like last weekend are what makes a chance to sweep a conference opponent so important;
if you can put bonus wins on the record to help offset series losses later, you need to do it.
