Who is the CB commit to OU that CM recently offered?
I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heal.

Courtre Alexander DE out of Owasso, Keon Hatcher's old school.

Alexander tweeted that he had a "great visit" with the coaches. Other than CM I don't recall who else was in attendance.

His offer list is not that great, but his tape is impressive and Texas has been showing interest.

An Old OL coach who's team couldn't block a hat last season... If things aren't MUCH better this fall,  enjoy Hot Springs Sammy!

We ain't ever ever ever ever ever gonna get so much as a sniff from that kid. He didn't even give OU much of a look.

Reminds me of a bigger Kyrie Fisher (Tulsa Union grad, UA RS FR) who played down or up with decent feet. Not going to be a LB in the SEC but has the footspeed and frame to grow into a DE.

Proctor is not the prospect some think (saw him 6-7 times this year). He doesn't like to hit and is more valuable as a return specialist (which is a good thing, and he is quite accomplished at this). Proctor is long and tall, maybe even too tall for a D1 safety.

The best defensive prospect in my book is Wayne Jones, who sometimes played the nickel-safety and sometimes an OLB position. Good hitter, good speed, and decent size. Might not be tall/long enough for SEC LB?

Proctor = tOSU
Jones = KState
Karson Kropp (LB) = Okie State
Alexander = ?
Bryce Cabrera = bulldozing RB, more a FB for college but he reminds me a lot of Peyton Hillis. Too slow for what we might want but someone will get a good one here.

Two good DBs who were sophomores (Duece Mayberry, CB, and Dawson Adams, safety), a very good JR QB (Will Keunhe),  Josh Jacobs younger brother at RB (Sophomore Isaiah Jacobs), and a legit D1 TE in Malcolm Kirby (Sophomore).

That doesn't include a lot of 5-9 x 160 WRs who can fly. Loads of college talent on one field. Coach Bill Blankenship was at Morris' introductory press conference, so there is a connection there.
I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. Coach Bill Blankenship knows how to win state championships or he's a good at picking head coaching positions at the right time.

Jacobs transferred in to play for Blankenship.

Kuehne is from Dallas. The family counseled with his QB coach and visited several schools looking for a good fit. Blankenship+Owasso was the destination.

The coach has a magic touch.

Oklahawg, not sure where you are located but have a question. I quit following a player from Wagoner, Nikia Jones, do you know where he may be headed?  Not sure the Razorbacks have any interest, just wondering if you have heard of anything on him.

Alexander looked real good in the 6A state championship game against Union. Glad to see the Hogs are on him! He'd make a impact on the defense, always around the ball.

Not sure what happened. Went from being a "big time" recruit as a frosh (starting) and sophomore to mid-major interest right now. Smaller school so academics could kick in, I suppose. Wagoner is like Warren, a small school perpetually producing D1 players. So, it is not like he was allowed to be lazy.

The article in the TWorld was a bit disingenuous. Broken Arrow has only had a couple of D1 players in the past five years, somehow, and one of those was a RB who went to jail before he could get to campus at OSU. 4A powers Wagoner and Oologah had more D1 recruits in the same time period, I think.

BA has an OT (sophomore) who everyone will recruit before it is all over. Some good speed/skilled players coming up as well.

Thanks. I know he had a minor injury late in the season but came back quickly. Just wasn't sure of his standing as far as colleges and haven't heard much after he got on OSU radar.

I would be surprised if we offer him.....look at his offer list before making him an impact player.

Looks like we also offered Isaac Stoops (Bob's son) a preferred walk on slot while in OK yesterday...

I take this to mean Bob Stoops will be our new DC.  Just waiting on his son to accept the walk on offer before it's announced.

Wonder if Drake Stoops (the twin, and the better football player) goes to OU.

Yes, OSU would be the guess on him. Tulsa would be a great fit if he has teh academics.

Drake Stoops has been offered by Iowa....where his parents went to school.  So I would imagine that is where he will go
