Which one of Coach Cals assistant kicked one of our players when we played them at Memphis? I want to say it was Joe Johnson in 2000. I remember Nolan was ticked off.

At the rate we're getting commitments, I'd lean towards it being false, unless it is very, very recently (meaning in the last day or two).  You'd think if he was offering a kid twice what he was getting at Kentucky, that kid would already be committed to us.

Quote from: bennyl08 on Yesterday at 08:41:19 pmDon't hear too many stories about tennis players, collegiate golfers, or swimmers speeding.

If football isn't the common denominator, what, pray tell, is?
Sometimes it's basketball...

Quote from: azhog10 on Today at 12:38:09 amWe are good. But we've seen come tourney time you gotta be able to hit. We haven't shown the ability to do that.

Go back and look at the last champions they dominated in tournament with pitching, pitching wins championship we have plenty of hitters just have to figure out how to get them all in the lineup, but as I said pitching wins championships

Quote from: hawganatic on Today at 08:08:29 amWe don't have to rely solely on the "big boosters" for NIL.  Everybody that wishes to can donate to the NIL collective.

I know there are people that keep going on and on about how poor the state is, but we are only talking about 5-10k (about .22% of the state's population) to donate regularly.

If you want to see change in the program, stop talking about who we "need" to get and start giving...
you are correct on that for sure. We need all Hog Fans to do it , if they can afford it   Yes sir , I do give 😊

Quote from: SMB Hogfan on Today at 08:01:00 amFrank Beamer was given a pretty long rope at VT. His first six seasons he only had 2 seasons with a winning record. Both were one game above .500. The other 4 were abysmal failures. Not 10 years, but considerable slack.

Nebraska was very patient with Tom Osborne, too.

But today's environment is not the same.

Too much money involved.
