Folks, I know it's only the first game, an inferior opponent, but we may have something here, regardless what all the prognosticators have predicted.

I know most will say whatever, but Southern will have a legit shot of making the post season this year. Last year, they lost by 4 to Iowa State and 10 to Baylor. So they have potential to hang with the big dogs. They went 13-5 in their conference, and returned 4 of 5 starters, including 2 of their top 3 scorers. They will have a shot to go on and win 20 games and make NIT or NCAAT.

Good win. More offense I. Game 1 then I expected. Moses looked like the player we've hoped for. Hannah shoots like Steph. Whitt looked good in the second half. Solid effort.

What a performance by Moses. He has a swagger now that I haven't seen from him before.

Durham with 10 assists is nice to see.

Whitt struggled but ended in double figures, so good to see him stick with it tonight.

Hannahs and Bell showed us how dangerous they can be together. Hannahs shoot it particuarly well.

Still not completely sure what this team will be this season, but it's Game 1. Nobody in the country is who they want to be right now. Looking forward to the next game. So good to have Arkansas basketball back.

I think Jimmy Whitt just had first game nerves in the first half and looked great in the second. Really quiet 12 points for him. Moses looked like the best player on the floor overall. Dusty Hannahs is absolutely filthy from long range. I agree that if our other bigs start to improve we could have a really solid season. Anthlon Bell finally got in a rhythm as well. I think this is a team that is really going to be a TEAM. You never know who might lead in scoring on any given night. Defensively we looked very solid with Kingsley's 5 blocks and active hands in the passing lanes.
