This may not be the right forum but wanted to educate everyone on the new priority parking for basketball games. I don't have season tickets but i go to a lot of games. Go to parking.uark.edu before you go unless you have a pass. For the past few years, I park in the gravel lots on the west side of the track center. Those are now priority parking and comes with a $100 fine. There are no new sign or attendants there to tell you this either.

Imagine that. G-damn ticket nazis.

Typical UofA. First day of the fall semester, people were getting tickets in green/yellow/blue posted lots, even though there were/have been signs posted for years stating these areas were restricted until 5pm. The UofA decided to change it to 8pm, only they didn't announce it via email or letter, nor did they change or remove the usual singage. Each lot got a single, little A-frame stand with a small font message stating as such posted somewhere near an entrance. If you didn't notice the A-frame stand, you were screwed. Who knew to look for it?!? Folks who had night classes and/or meetings that first week, were all screwed.

No effort to educate the masses of the change. But they definitely had the ticket nazis out there printing tickets.

I used to argue with HA about how Pel ran the basketball team.  I've since learned to like and respect him.  In fact, I'd go as far to say that HA is well connected or extremely perceptive. - Porkatarian, 11/7/12

Do they run the shuttle from Baum during basketball season?
