Great pickup for our third publicly announced commitment.  We have the playmaking point guard who is well rounded offensively and defensively.  He will be a fun player to watch and a fan favorite.

This moves Knox back to the 2 or 3 spot with Blake at the 4 and Big Z at the 5.  Blake is holding on to his starting spot for now, but with it sounded like commitments have already taken place that just have not been publicly announced, he may have already lost that starting position.  We are one more announcement away from being able to officially put a lineup on the court.

What a nice situation to be in when we are talking about whether it would end up being Jonas Aidoo or Brandon Garrison as a Hog next season.  I like Aidoo especially as a seasoned veteran, but Garrison has such upside.  With Aidoo planning to visit UNC after Arkansas, it seems it might come down to whether Aidoo commits to the Hogs on the visit or if he leaves and thus Garrison is the next man up.  UNC is the home state school with what would seem like the last visit.

Garrison comes across as ambidextrous on the the court with his ability to finish and take shots with either hand.  He shoots jumpers more with the right hand release and has that nice left hook shot.  In just a few highlights he seems to dunk more with the right hand.  He blocks shots with either hand. I thought I heard that he was a lefty, but when watching him play it is hard to tell with how he uses both hands and positions his body on the court.  He seems to position more as a lefty.

Garrison is the one recruit so far that there definitely seems to be the regional connection with it being closer to his home.

I have some pity for them, it's not like we don't have people on here who convinced themselves we forced out Muss. But yea a lot of these guys are chuds. They're going to lose their minds when we are better than they are next year (again).
