Arkansas' baseball players and coaches spent a lot of dugout time together Saturday and Sunday at Texas A&M's Bluebell Park. With Friday night's series opener rained out forcing a Saturday doubleheader, the Razorbacks had been at the ballpark 15 hours by the time game-two was suspended by rain after six innings. Lightening forced yet another delay in the top of the first of game-three on Sunday. After each delay the Hogs came back strong.

"It seemed like we bonded," head coach Dave Van Horn observed. "We spent a lot of down time together. We just hung out and got better."

The difference was striking. Dropping game-one Saturday afternoon and heading to the team hotel late that night after game-two was suspended Arkansas had been been outscored 21-9. On Sunday the Razorbacks returned the favor outplating the Aggies 6-0 over the final three innings of game-two to win 9-8. Arkansas had a 1-0 lead in the top of the first in game-three when the lightening delay began. The Hogs returned a couple of hours later to add five more runs in the first and coast to an 8-2 victory giving the top ranked Aggies their first series loss of the season. In ten innings of baseball on Sunday Arkansas outscored the Texas A&M 14-2.
