Dude, we're just wondering what seed now.
I have 10 to 12 points to make per game.

Not yet; lose next 2 and you are NIT bound...don't get overanxious

Right now, it could go either way, I think. Meaning, it depends on how other teams do if we get in. If we win one more...we're probably in. If we win against Alabama and one in the SEC tourney...we're 1000% in.

It looks like we have about an 80% chance of making the tourney though, as of right now. Kind of crazy to imagine how we've turned this season around. We're playing the best ball this program has played in well over a decade.

root_hawg

Nope lose the next 2 both will be bad losses; RPI will plummett and NIT bound

razorson

Win Sat. and I will feel more confident. :razorback:

Beaverfever

Unless we lay complete eggs we're in.  eye test/recent play is big.  The hogs are a top 25 team right now.

Can we lose at Bama and come up blank in the SECT and get in?

I don't think this happens, but if it did?

Nosboar Accubond

I think we can lose to Bama, but if we do we gotta get a win in the SECT. Beat Bama and win an SECT game and we are a lock.

Ken Pomeroy gave us a 30% chance of making it this morning on the radio. These analysts are all over the place. He had us in his last 4 in but I got the idea he felt we wouldn't hold onto our spot after the conference tourneys.

Need 1 more Win
I think you right. Losing at Bama would be the lesser of the losses.

root_hawg

Last I looked we aren't even getting votes in the top 25 and blowing out two weak sisters of the SEC, one good is that Bama is on road, isn't going to help that much.

Nosboar Accubond

It was more important to beat Ole Missy at home... now need to finish strong.

cardsNhogs

What scares me is Mizzou winning next week at Tenn and a game in SEC T. Will selection committee look at their two wins against us and put them IN ahead of us along with Tenn? Every year teams get snubbed

elksnort

Why not have Mizzou and us both?

The SEC is not as bad as some think.

I don't think we lose again this year.  Think what that means.

Tenner and Mizzou are fighting for the fourth spot. Ark is right now in the #3 spot for the sec.

Yes, we will lose again. But I think we'll win 3-4 more before it's over.

You don't know that anymore than the OP knows that we're in.

Lose the next two and it's very much up in the air.

Beat Bama and it's a done deal.

Hope selection committee see it this way.

nope. We in regardless.

No, no we aren't.  Snakebites are hard to recover from, but it does look like we are getting there.

HogFanatic

This will all become irrelevant. Arkansas isn't done with their run. They win this Saturday comfortably and probably one or two in the SEC tourney.

From where I sit Arkansas is a 100% lock in the tourney right now barring some sort of unseen catastrophy.

hogfan2000

Win Saturday and it's done.  11-7 in conference play gets us in even if we lose first game in tournament. Even with a loss in first game of SEC tournament, we would have been 8-2 in last 10.  A loss Saturday, and we are gonna need work in the tournament.  1-1 to close is good enough. I think 2-2 gets us in by the skin of our teeth.  Any think in between and I think we are nit bound.

If Kentucky loses to Florida, then bombs out in their first SEC-T game, we'd be far from a lock, even with a win over Bama.

The bubble moves over, under, and around teams in a heck of a hurry.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Geeze Debbie Downer. That won't happen.  We won tonight and will probably win SAT.  We are in regardless of the SEC tourny.

With us or against us?

buldozer

The SECT bracket for us did not look good when they put it up during the game.... why are we lined up with Tenn? That sucks big time...

root_hawg

Really we are talking grammar now and word choice?

Think we win at Bama, not much depth, prob at least 1 in SECT and then 7-9 seed in NCAA T

Since the night of Feb. 1, Arkansas has lost one game by a single point. Raise your hand if you want to play the Razorbacks in the NCAAs.

WBOBO

If we can beat Bama, and we should that would give us four road wins.  We
are in.  I don't think Kentucky has four road wins this year and going to Florida
Saturday isn't too promising.
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.

I agree 100%

Captain Crunch

Win one more, no matter who it is, when or where, and we're in. Beat Bama, we're in. Beat first-round SEC Tourney opponent and we're in. Just win baby, just win once, and we're in.

Word choice is a pretty big deal when its you and our.

Example:   I really like your kid.  vs.  I really like our kid.

See the difference? One makes you an admiring bystander, the other makes you a significantly less well off father.

root_hawg

Think Mizzou at Tenn is an elimination game unless one goes crazy in the SECT
