Notice he says your boy instead of "our coach". Very telling.

I'm not worried. If he recruits like he did here Louisville will fire him in about 5 years.

DukeOfPork

Love it.  He really does well with the Press.

Excellent, thanks.

I remember when many on Hogville proclaimed BBs first staff as the best ever maybe even in all of college football.  And that was before seeing one down of football played.

Time showed they weren't.  BB made changes.  Most were better changes.  I hope this OC change is for the better.  My opinion is that it will be.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

The one thing I really found very interesting was the comments at the very beginning of the interview describing the vetting process with Enos. I'm not sure there are that many HCs who would take his entire offensive staff to sit in while reviewing a candidate for the OC position. I believe most head coaches would select the person and basically say to the rest of his staff something like "Here's the guy I've chosen; figure out a way to work with this guy". Savvy move to allow the entire group to have an input into the hiring process.

The more I learn about CBB the more I'm convinced this guy would be a successful CEO just about anywhere he might be. He understands that a key to success is teamwork and the engagement of support staff into the planning process.

The most amazing part of it - he and the entire offensive staff managed to interview OC's without details leaking out.
Beleima handled that interview like a pro.

i noticed that as well.  however, i'll bet most coaches do that, or similar to it.  maybe not take them all on the ride but certainly some up-front discussion.

nevertheless, it's great that coach has foresight in this regard that seems to be inherent in his selection process, and overall management style.

Thanks for posting this. You have to be very proud to be a Razorback football fan right now. Thanks to Coach B and Jeff Long for getting the job done so far. I believe we are on the cusp of something very special. Boy, is that nice to say after the mess we were in with Houston Nutt and then the Petrino debacle. This sure feels nice and I can't wait to see what great strides we'll make in the next few seasons.

Thanks for the post.
My favorite words from CBB were when Dari asked him what he (CBB) would think when people talk about Arkansas having a good year in 2015, and CBBs response was " I don't think it, I know it". Coach is a smart guy.

Talk about an absolute perfect fit for Arkansas. Smart, focused, embraces our history, and even looks the part. Future is very bright.
I beg to differ, sir. We started a game we never got to finish. "Play for Blood," remember?
