will tony bua finally get to be a defensive starter???

Nick Saban said a few weeks ago that Bua was moving from linebacker to safety. He said that was his best chance to stay on the team. He said it was his responsibility to learn that position and he hoped he would because he's a value on special teams.

He has limitations - size, pass defense, etc.

There's nothing wrong with a guy being a solid special teams player and a nickel/dime back for years in the NFL. It's still a great living.....

Bates for Dallas, made a career out of special teams. Bua could probably make the Dolphins depth chart as a Safety. He'll get his shot one day, we'll see what he does with it. Otherwise, we know the guy can lay the lumber on ST.
