...but I did go to a part of Vancouver I rarely visit when I went to watch the first night of the HSBC Celebration of Light yesterday.  I walked around a bit and took some pics before the fireworks started.  I also shot some video of the fireworks.

The Northern Lights are best viewed January through March up there I have heard. Is that indeed prime viewing ?

Honestly, I don't know.  I've only been up here for a year, and I didn't go outside much at night during January through March.  I'll have to remember to try to see them next year.
