Back from the Bayou

I had not been back to the place of my birth for several years and spent last weekend back in South Louisiana.  I guess I was blinded in the past because of loyalty to the area, but, after this past weekend I was shocked at how run down everything is. 

I'm talking Baton Rouge and Lafayette, not the hurricane effected areas.  And if I hear anyone from Louisana putting down Arkansas again, I would suggest they look at their own backyard.  I would say that was like the pot calling the kettle black.  But compared to Louisiana--Arkansas is Sterling Silver!!!

The people and food are still great, but to all those LSU fans that were offended by my Texas plates and Razorback stickers...
