I really like watching the up tempo style of play.  It is fun to watch.  However, our half court offense does not seem to have much of a purpose.  There are very few screens set and mostly people are just standing around.  I like Pel and I like the defensive pressure we have at times, but offensively it's on the kids to be creative or nothing happens.  We took a bunch of ugly hurried shots at critical times.

Our half court offense is just terrible. Even as a Pel supporter I'll say our halfcourt offense has less motion than mot high school teams it seems. The few screens we set are weak or don't make contact.

We set a ton of screens, actually.  We just don't set many *good* screens.  There is a vast, vast difference.

Poor execution does not mean there isn't a scheme in place.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Um....I'm not really sure if you guys are really on point with this.  In the games I have watched it has been the half court offense that has executed well.  We lack an open court finisher.  There were several times this game where we blew opportunities in the open court.  (Welsh and Fortson in particular)  I honestly can't remember our half court offense being as effective as it has been in the past few games.  Most of Stan Heath's teams were good in the open court but extremely poor in the half court.  We simply don't seem to have the personel to go full court all the time.

Have you never seen the DRIBBLE DRIVE developed by John Calipari

I don't get to see many games.  I live in Houston, TX.  However, what I saw today was a whole lot of let C.F. try to create off of the dribble or just make one pass and a terrible shot off of one pass.  I like Courtney driving to the basket and dishing, but I would like to see some getting the ball to the second and third side of the floor before cranking up a 21 foot jumper.  I think we can get a better shot than that.
