Who's going to take it all? Let's see your pics. I'm not 100% confident of this but I will go with the Red Sox.

I'll pick the Sox as well, though I'd like a little payback for their '04 sweep of the Cards.

It's up for grabs. Could literally be any of them.

I don't see a clear cut favorite either. Whoever catches fire at the right time...hope the Cards "get lucky" again. ;)

johnny cash

I never bet against the Cards.

I think the Dodgers beat the Tigers in the WS as long as they get past the Braves in the NLDS.  Having to face Kershaw and Grienke at least 4 times total in a 7 game series just isn't fair.

I think Detroit will be tough to beat. If Verlander shows up as Verlander and they have him and Scherzer they will be really tough.

So You are betting against the Cards and their hfa?

I rarely pick my teams in any of the big 3 pro sports to win it all.

Yep.  Great starting pitching beats good hitting in the playoffs.

Is HFA hitting for average?  If so, never seen it put like that before.

The Cards have good pitching. That is what you are forgetting about. I forgot you  are a Braves Puke Fan.

I had no idea what HFA was either. had to think a while before I figured out it was Home Field Advantage.

Makes sense.  He didn't tell me what it meant either.  Thanks!

If the Cardinals can get past the Dodgers, they will win it.  Craig MAY be back by the NLCS, but if he's back in the WS the Cardinals lineup is better than anyone they'd face in the ws. Cards have an American league lineup as far as being able to hurt you up and down the lineup. Having Adams at dh for the games in the AL parks would be HUGE. If the young pitchers can stay hot, STL will be tough to beat.

Kershaw is 0-2 with an ERA over 4 against the Cardinals this season

And yes, I'm a HUGE homer haha

As hot as the bats can be, always seems like World Series come down to great pitching and timely hitting.

All about whichever team gets hot and maybe even a little lucky. Hard to predict who that's gonna be.

Was thinking the same thing today. Getting Craig back for the WS would be crucial. Otherwise, who DHs? Shane Robinson?

This is lethal:

Carpenter
Beltran
Holliday
Craig
Molina
Adams
Jay
Freese
Descalso

That is a good looking lineup

I could see Robinson DH'n and still out of the 9 hole he wouldn't be a bad option. Wong and Cruz wouldn't be bad either.
