Brent Schaeffer could end up at Clemson

Reports earlier this week indicate that Tennessee quarterback Brent Schaeffer, who was dismissed from the team, has narrowed his list of transfer destinations down to eight schools. Internet and talk radio speculation both indicate he may end up at Clemson.

Schaeffer's mother told newspapers in Florida that he sent release forms to Clemson, Central Florida, Miami (FL), South Florida, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Texas A&M and Miami (OH.)

Brent started the opening game, but Erik Ainge was the guy from there though.  Brent is a left-handed quarterback who is a good scrambler.  He got hurt in the South Carolina game with a seperated shoulder and sat out the rest of the season.
