Anybody watching Denver vs. Kansas City? Peyton is through, it appears. Beyond doubt this is his last year. No mobility of any kind. Looks like a statue in the pocket. I have to admit I could never stand this high forehead SOB. He ran up fantastic numbers at Indy by relying on a chicken darn offense that was designed to start the play before the defense was ready to defend. He won his one (and only one) Super Bowl against a very marginal Chicago team. The Brady vs. Manning saga has now been decided. I often have said, "Give me one Tom Brady, and; you can have any of the Manning family that you want." From Archie on down. Oh, Peyton just threw a pick six. Yes, he is done! Hope he enjoys ending his career looking like a putz. Looks like Parmesan to me, Peyton.

While I hope Peyton is done,  I'm not counting on it;   a new offense will always look like a trainwreck for a little while.

That said,  I think his records aren't going to last that long.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

When has Peyton ever had mobility?

Manning's one of the best ever, but yes, I'd take Brady over Manning without a blink.

Did he steal your girlfriend or piss in your chili?  Why the hate?  He's old

How old is manning now?  Almost 40?  Of course he's in decline.  I bet he still improves over the next few weeks as the offense starts to gel.

The commentators were saying early in the game that Kubiak took the play calling out of Manning's hands?!? Don't know why you would mess with a good thing for Broncos fans

Well, he did just get buried.  I don't think he's dead yet.

Manning's looked better than Brady did over the first 4 games of last season. Remember everybody saying Brady was done?

No, he's not. I am old. I'm 61. He's just WAY overrated. I am sure he will end up in the Hall of Fame. But, not for the right reasons. For what it's worth, Terry Bradshaw; (who on a good day was a moderate QB) won 4 Super Bowls. Manning almost always chokes in the playoffs. And, I simply can not stand when he starts yelling "Omaha, Omaha"! Just not HOF material, in my opinion.

Kubiak is killing the Broncos offense.  The oline isn't very good and hasn't been consistent for a while as Clady hasn't been able to stay healthy.  But the conservative play calling tonight has not helped at all.  The runs the last two possessions were wasted downs and put Peyton in a position to have to make 3rd down throws with a line that can't protect well.

PonderinHog

Add another TD to his total.

Atlhogfan1

Could have done that possibly two series ago if Kubiak had not have gone back conservative again.  The defense is giving all it can.  Get out of Peyton's way.  He is old and isn't near what he once was.  But the mind is still there.

Well, that was a quick turn of events.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Only the 2nd QB to put up 70,000 yards.  Not at all HOF material.  Get real

That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Manning is without a doubt a HoF'er.

The Terry Bradshaw that had 9 completions in each of his first 2 Superbowl wins throwing for a combined 305 yards, and threw 3 INTs in his 4th Superbowl?  He had a good 3rd Superbowl.  That's hardly clutch.

Good QB.  I have no problem with him being in the HOF.  But if you want to compare Manning to a clutch QB his name was Joe Montana and Manning is way short.  But he's a first ballot HOF'er.

I agree. I don't care if the guy never even played in a Super Bowl. 70,000 yards and all those TDs gets him in first ballot.
