I'm going to go with Bill O'Brien as he should not be coaching in the NFL period, but I will give Rex Ryan a close 2nd for losing to the no-Offense Jags and he was supposed to take the Bills' D to another level and he's failed bad.

I'm pretty sure first was the Dolphins head coach.
If a man speaks and no woman is around to hear him, is he still wrong?

second coach to be gone I would say is

Jim
Chuck
Bill

Rex and lovie are safe this year.

Gus Bradley is a heavy favorite in Vegas.     Had they lost today,  I wouldn't have expected him to be the Jaguars HC on Monday.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Which makes you wonder why the trigger hasn't been pulled on Bill O'Brien yet, getting beat on by a no-experience interim head coach and beat bad.  Also rumors going around that he's lost the locker room already.

I also disagree on Lovie Smith being safe, those Tampa Bay fans are getting angrier with each loss and blowing a big lead in Washington yesterday and I think he's going to lose his player support big time if one more of those happens and his offense is wrecked.

Rex may be safe only because it's year one in Buffalo but he is NOT getting the job done.  Bills had a top defense last year, he was supposed to build on that and make it even better and instead he crapped it and they lost to Jacksonville.  Good defenses don't do that.

The jags offense is actually a little better than people give them credit for. I think they are around 24/32 in YPG and 19/32 in PPG. Still not good by any means, but they are a lot closer to the middle of the pack than they have been in a long time.

They will probably actually be top 2 in their division. Mainly because it's horrible. The colts lead the division by a game. They are tied with Houston for 2nd and ahead of Tennessee. I think they will end up ahead of Houston. Indy should win it, but you never know, they have been bad. The Jags actually have a chance to win it for the first time in a while.

Maybe but I still think they're a bit behind Del Rio's Raiders and not really poised yet to make a run.  I put the bigger blame on Rex because:

1.  He was supposed have the pieces in place to get the job done that Marrone and Whaley gave him.  He was always pardoned in NY by players, because he was their guy, and by fans because they always complained that the GM left his cupboard bare on him constantly.  He doesn't have that excuse now and the Bills are not achieving what they were supposed to with their current defense.

2.  He hired Greg Roman.  Awful playcaller and the 49er fans were calling for his head the last 2 years and you can see why.  Tyrod Taylor is doing fairly good, Manuel not so much, but Greg Roman is putting a chokehold on the offense again and it's not going over well there.

3.  His players have voiced their displeasure about what he's doing and if he doesn't make some big changes in how he uses guys like Mario Williams and Marcel Darreus, he's going to lose everyone's support and fast.  This isn't college where he can just make young 19-22 year olds or thereabouts do what he wants, these players run the game and if you don't have their backing, your time is going to get cut even shorter.

Well ok, I'm updating the poll here, and I did update the options

While I'm not sold on Lovie Smith, he did do one thing right in bringing in Dirk Koetter, that guy has done a good job taking an offense that was a garbage fire and making them into a pretty well-oiled machine.  Winston's been improving as the season's gone on, and that may keep Lovie safe for a while.  Still don't think he's a good big game coach, or good game manager.

Rex Ryan appears to have a QB who's getting it in Tyrod Taylor, he should still can Greg Roman when the season is over, but if he can just have his defensive players play to their strengths and not do what they aren't good at, he may start winning more games.  Still think he's not the long-term answer though.

Bill O'Brien looked bad early on, but after going through that firestorm and seemingly ironing out a volatile situation, as they are tied for first and may still win the south, finishing at or near last year's record should still earn him at least 1 more shot to get it done.  Maybe not as bad a coach as I thought.

On another note, coaches on the hottest seats right now ... I'd say

1.  Jay Gruden - doesn't matter if his team is in the midst of a logjam in the NFC East, they may be one of the most sloppy undisciplined units in all of football.  I thought Jim Schwartz was bad about that, but this guy takes the cake.  He won't be surviving this much longer.

2.  Jeff Fisher - guy may have been okay for a short-term fix in St Louis but he's gotten worse and worse and has done little to help the Rams succeed lately, getting fixated on playing musical QBs and giving them no continuity whatsoever and scapegoating his offensive coordinators.

3.  Mike McCoy - Looks no better and in fact is probably worse than Norv Turner.  Chargers problems just keep getting magnified and if I was Philip Rivers, I'd ask to be released.

Agree!

Fisher, Pagano, and Caldwell seem to be locks to be gone. Texans have been mich improved once their QB position was cleaned up so hard to see Coach BOB not getting another season
