Dez returns and offensive chemistry goes to crap.  He does very little more than not make plays and whine to the refs.  Please trade immediately.

Dr. Starcs

Dak has looked awful, but not nearly as bad as the special teams.

Dez isn't the problem tonight.

Dak was locked into Dez only for 3 qtrs and finally looked to others like Beasley and Williams late and the offense looked totally different and scored.
This game should be a great learning experience.

Anything else to say? Dez had over 100 yards and a big time TD catch. The Dak legend only continues to grow.

The Dak legend?  He played poorly basically all night.  The blueprint has now been established...blitz him and force quick reads.

The defense played a tremendous game last night and the Cowboys have the best running game in the NFL.  Dak has played well for a rookie but was mediocre at best last night.

Cowboys Won and very few can blitz as well as Philly.
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Agreed, just hope Dak also learns from the blueprint.

Romo would have gotten sacked every time.

Romo is 5-1 against Philadelphia since the 2012 season.  If they have figured out to neuter him by blitzing they haven't shown it so far.  During that time his average game against the Eagles is 21 of 31 (68%) for 248 yards with 9 TDs and 4 interceptions.

He played mediocre but when they needed a 90 yard drive for a TD to tie the game at end of regulation, Dak came through.  When Dallas needed to score first to win the game in OT, Dak did it.

Dak still has things to work on but considering that he was a 4th round pick while the #1 draft pick for San Fran is sitting on the bench, Dak is doing good.  Sunday night was a learning curve for him. Dak will get better.

Yes, Dak is an outstanding rookie QB.  Is he the future of the Cowboys franchise?  Time will tell.

The whole Dak discussion relates to who should QB the team when Tony Romo is fully recovered from his injury.  How many come from behind wins has Romo authored?  25 in ten years between 2006 and 2015.

No quarterback on that list has more over the same period of time.  Click on the "view comebacks" link.  Brady, Eli, and Brees achieved some of theirs before 2006.

Romo also has the 3rd highest career passer rating in history...ahead of Brady, Peyton Manning, Steve Young, Joe Montana.

That's the context in which the Dak Prescott discussion is being held.  It's not whether he has had an outstanding rookie season.  Everyone agrees he has.  It is whether he should continue to play when one of the best NFL quarterbacks on the last 25 years is ready to get back on the field.

Dez is a typical example of an elite athlete that keeps everyone mesmerized by potential and a few big plays and games.  But over time, more consistently brings drama and underperforming with excuses.  Give me A player with toughness, heart, and drive over one with potential and heart against weaker teams and when things are going well.  Dez and Cam would make a great duo.

Dr. Starcs

Dez and Dak do just fine.
