Alvin Bailey spent five hours in Hillsborough County Jail on Saturday for failing to appear in court on a second-degree misdemeanor traffic citation.

Bailey, 20, was booked at 5:07 p.m. and released at 10 on $5,000 bond, according to Hillsborough County Jail records.

He had been cited May 12 for driving with a suspended or revoked license, his second offense...

Just another dumb move, by yet another dumb athlete.  Did he really believe that he could just ignore his court date, & nobody would notice?  On top of that, it was his second offense for driving with a suspended/revoked license...?   Evidently nothing happened to him the first time, so he figures it's ok to do it again.
