Hot Springs Hogs

When Stan Heath was hired in 2002, I thought it was a good move, but I also realized that he inherited a program that was talent poor.  After watching this team go belly up in its last two games of the season, he's got to go.  Despite winning 18 games this year, this team made no progress as evidenced by only one quality win, an 6-10 SEC mark and two lousy performances against sorry SEC teams to close out the season. How can Razorback fans trust Heath to turn this program around if his club can't put forth a halfway decent effort late in the regular season?
With Heath announcing that the Hogs will not play in the NIT, there are a couple things to draw from this:
1.  Expect an announcement in a few days that either Heath will be gone or he'll be asked to shake up his staff.
2.  Arkansas doesn't want to go into the NIT with a coach it wants to get rid of.
3.  Arkansas doesn't want to get stuck facing UALR in a game it has everything to lose and UALR has everything to gain.
