Joe is leading the Hawks to a great season (as far as Atlanta goes).  They are 14-12 and beating .500 + teams steadily.  They have a nice young group of guys... Johnson, Smith, Horford, acie law... its really exciting.

Seems like a team that still has 8 small forwards, and no center.   Lots of athleticism, not as much toughness as they really need.

That said, they should get a playoff spot in the East.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Ronnie didn't get too much playing time tonight when the Jazz surprisingly spanked the Magic on the road.  The Jazz have been so horrible lately I didn't think they would pull it off.  Nonetheless, Ronnie got a season low 4 points tonight.  He has only been held under 10 points four times this season.

they did good with al horford. another guy like that would go a long way for them.

this is a rivals or scout.com all world team. all of their players seem to be highly touted HS or college players.

Really, though, they're a much better team if they can get Horford in physical match ups against power forwards in the East, rather than centers.   They're a player or two away.   Law's development as a pass-first guard is going to determine how far they can go this year, though.

That is NBA now though.... Young athletic, not necessarily "basketball Players", forwards with potential that every team goes for.... They only give them a year or two to develope and then move on and in poorly run franchises you often see a team like the Hawks end up with on position stockpiled trying to find that on gem..... I think they found theirs in Josh Smith and know a solid veteran in Joe Johnson and a young good big man in Al... They are team to watch maybe not this year but next year when Horford has a year of experience under his belt
