I'm not sure why you say that.  The longer it is before we hire one leads many of us to believe the next DC is coaching in a major bowl.  If not, then I like the fact CCM is taking his time to get the right fit all around.

Oh really I mean what name(s) have you heard for CERTAIN that we've offered the position and have been turned down There have been names thrown around; however, when it comes right down to it I know of no one for certain that has said "no thanks". I for one would prefer that Chad take his time to get the right guy. As I believe the DC may be THE most important hire he could initially make, a bold statement I know, then perhaps we need to have a little more patience. Besides, if as we suspect, one or more of the possible candidates might currently be involved in bowl preparations there might be an understandable delay.
