Honor and Integrity no longer exist in the world of college football.  It is only filled with liar's cheater's, and traitors.

ErieHog

Like I said.

36 minutes of struggle, and 9 minutes of playing like a champion.

It's not how you start, but how you finish, and we haven't had a better finisher in a long time.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

I think all the hogs do. Remember, RC struggled the whole game till the end. The other guys stood up till then.

total team effort.

TomasPistola

I'd take a team full of em. Well...maybe some that are taller ;)

Love that kid.

If you have some form of mental retardation i will stop making fun of you, just want to clarify this first.

Piglet Dispersion Syndrome

I would gladly set screen after screen for Rotnei. I wish we could draw it up.

I was there when we melted the internet!  Were you?

Breems

First person in a while I've trusted to take a shot at the end of the game.
Proud member of the "Left Before Halftime" football club.

Pelphrey should be seconding this with all his heart.

Rotnei will probably wind up saving his job more than once this year.

Bout time he got the recognition that he's deserved all year, last year too for that matter.  Some of us told you guys not to get down on him, that he was and is a quality basketball player, and an even better person.  I'm glad some finally see that we are lucky to have him.  He's a sophomore remember.  Way to go Rot.  Nice job.

Or anytime in a game

Niels Boar

Pretty impressive that he hit pressure shots with under a minute to play when he wasn't having a lights out night. I believe he was 1 for 6 on treys with over a minute to play.  Usually it is the other way around.  Guys make shot after shot till the pressure is on.

Karma

He's improved so much from last year. He deserves a ton of credit.

Smokehouse

when he went to the FT line at the end of OT I didn't even feel nervous, just knew they were going in.
QuoteSometimes a warrior just has to lay down on the ground there for a minute and just have a good bleed. Just bleed.

Words of wisdom from John Pelphrey.

The Boar War

The hustle he showed when he stole the ball back after he threw it away only to fake and nail the three was the play of the year so far.

Swine & Cheese Club

He is going to be a dagger in the heart of many opposing teams!!!  Way to go Rotnei!  Good game Hogs!  WPS!

Pignominious

My favorite play of the game was when Rot turned the ball over and got it back and drained a three.  It was totally gutsy.  I also liked the fact that RC wanted the ball in the crunch.  Win or lose I want the ball in Clarke's hands.
Ray Biggers' third cousin.

Hollywood_HOGan45

the guy is all hustle and all heart!!

Very glad we have this young man from the sooner state!

Poker_hog

Rotnei and Bryant showed a lot of heart last night.  Rotnei nailed two game winners.  Bryant had 11 rebouds.
Sometimes wrong, but never in doubt

sshawg

Gotta get Bryant more minutes. He is a rebounder. He WANTS the ball.

The_Iceman

if every player put in the extra time and dedication he did we would be a top tier team in the SEC...or more.

fred ziffel

Last year he seemed to play in streaks...this year his confidence shows

I don't think most of Hogville understands just how difficult the game winner by Rotnei really was.....he was being chased off a double screen received the ball off a curl a bit late from Welsh (although Rotnei says it was on time, it wasn't as RC was being his normal classy self by giving ups to Welsh for the pass) and had a Missouri St defender in this face making him shoot a slight fall away....which created just enough of a window to get the shot through.....and he stuck it down deep, all this and we were a point down, not tied, so the pressure and possibly the season had to be in RC's head....the young man is the epitome of class....we haven't had a shooter of this guy's ability since the 'Great Marvin Delph'
The long Grey line will never fail our country.

Boarbreath

Only a soph and one of the best pure shooters in college due to his talent and work ethic.  Work ethic similar to Brandon Burlsworth in football and currently Zack Cox in baseball.

Witnessed the 51 point performance.  I know Alcorn State is terrible but that was the most unselfish 51 points possible.  He only took 21 shots, had 5 assists, passed on other shooting opportunities and sat the last 5 minutes.
