Auburn announces Missouri's Greg Brown as defensive backs coach

"I'm excited to welcome Greg Brown, who is one of the best defensive backs coach in all of football to our staff at Auburn," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said in a statement. "Greg has coached three Thorpe Award winners and has a strong proven track record of developing players at both the college and professional level."

Brown helped coach a Missouri defense that tied for the SEC lead in interceptions (15) during the regular season, though it allowed 246.8 passing yards per game to rank 86th nationally. Missouri allowed over 300 passing yards in just two games (Georgia and Arkansas)
