Fired from 2 nfl teams in 2 years. Should have kept his ass at Oregon.

Yeah. Only lost 7 games in 4 years at Oregon I believe.

Also, would JL even have the smarts to give him a call?  For the good of the program he should do all he can to get him here but I have zero faith in his hiring abilities.

Why the obsession with a pro coach. Heck we've had two and fired them both.

Would be a major upgrade no doubt. Problem is our AD gave out one of the absolute worst contracts of all time with buyout figures that should only be in place for an elite coach, so we are stuck.

Post this in two years if you are still unhappy with CBB.  Until then nothings changing .... and it is entirely possible after two more seasons you might not want it do.  But if so ... then by all means bring it up again then.
I miss the smell of the mud, grass, and sweat of the practice field. I miss blood oozing down your arm from the rip in your skin that was slashed on a guys helmet as you punked him at the line of scrimmage and put his dobber in the dirt.

I like CBB. But I would trade him for Kelly in a heartbeat. Kelly is the coach LSU should have hired. Imagine that beast. Fast fun offense with the best talent in the nation. It would have been brutal.

That said, as far as coaching here goes there is only one question.

Is he willing to pay us 15 million dollars to coach here? Because that is what it will take.
