from Chicago due to the EHV-1 virus at Hawthorne.    At least for the time being.  I loved shippers from Louisiana and Chicago in the 1st few days of racing in January.

I caught the races at Hawthorne last week and every single thoroughbred was on the track by itself.  No pony with them.  I do not know much about the virus but it must be serious stuff to quarantine horses.
