This is a nice little web app that is pretty simple. It has low overhead so it opens quickly on your phone. i dont have an ipad, but if i did, wow--awesome free service. you can get VFR/IFR sectionals. if nothing else, a great back up available ~3000 agl

That's pretty sweet. I'll have to check it out.  I use Foreflight on my iPad.  It's $75 a year for the basic subscription, but is really handy.

Foreflights awesome... Thu have a 30 day free trail I am in right now... Really sweet. I need an iPad tho... I just have an iPhone... It is awesome tho

This is def the best free one I have found.
