Stating I said "any" Hog fan is ignorant.  I did not.  For those adult Hog fans who are hoping he stays while disregarding even if not in his best interest it is selfish.  Hopefully those advising him are not. 

And "any" Hog fan would include kids.  Certainly not going to include them in this.  Ignorant to suggest so.

And I find it sad, pathetic, childish, selfish, etc that adults are putting such a priority on wanting Bobby to return even if not in his best interest(it may be)just so the team may win more games next season and they will be happier.  Frank Bobby, right? 

Aren't fans always like that?  If you are a fan of a pro team don't you want the player to stay and play for your team instead of taking the big money and playing for another team?  We are just wired that way.

I want Bobby to be a HUGE success where ever he goes...and if I thought him coming back for another year would end any chance of him being a success in the future I would want him to leave and I would help him pack.

This is a Razorbacks message board, thus the hopes Portis stays. I share that hope and desire, and I'm focused on the Hogs best interests over an individual player's.

Two things jump out at me, one that tweet doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know. Two, nobody here has any influence on whether he goes or stays yet it's debated to no end with posters going at each other as though BP is monitoring this board to get the information needed to make his decision.

It isn't selfish of me to want bobby to stay. I don't know him. I think he should do what he wants. I won't hold it against him if he leaves but I want him to stay.

It would be selfish if I knew him and he valued my opinion and I guided him to a decision that would benefit me form a financial or situational way.

Would love for him to stay, I am after all, a bleeding Razorback red fan. I will applaud and respect his decision no matter which side of my fandom it falls on. I shudder to think if it at that age I had the opportunity and decision to make such as this, I could be clear headed and decisive. Lots of pressure on a young man.
