Kinda crappy that she did it after the transfer portal closed. 3

I agree. Included them in the list more to show how "weak" the contenders are in comparison to our resume. Florida's RPI is solid for their record including their #1 SOS. This would help UGa's case with a series win/sweep this weekend if they could do it. 5
OmaHOGS - Extra Innings,The Road to Omaha / Re: National SeedLast post by Grizzlyfan - Today at 03:55:14 pmQuote from: Atlhogfan1 on Today at 03:04:39 pmMaybe. With all of the ACC contenders except UNC for a top 8 seed losing their series including being swept or losing series to bad teams plus ECU getting swept, we would be very secure right now. It would take multiple teams rebounding and winning series this next weekend to put us in any danger if we had lost yesterday and 3 at A&M.If we lost Sunday and 3 at a&m that would put us 2-7 to finish the SEC season. And the conventional wisdom would be that we finally got to the meat of the schedule and folded. But again, I don't think you can overstate how big that win was yesterday. 6

Most of the kids in the portal will be on scholarship somewhere next year Google it and you will find research shows 42% don't find a new school. 7

It doesn't address any issues that arise from having a spouse on staff (like folks feeling they can't complain to the HC about the spouse who isn't the HC, or the perception that the non-HC spouse speaks for the HC). 8
Monday Morning Quarterback / Re: CFB returning production 2...Last post by island hog - Today at 03:45:57 pmInteresting but only half of the story... what about returning defensive production numbers? TFLs, Passes defended, etc.,...would be cool to see that and then combine with the offense to get a better picture. With the transfer portal, I'm not sure it really matters anyhow.

OmaHOGS - Extra Innings,The Road to Omaha / Re: Classy move by Vandy's Tim...Last post by AugustaHog - Today at 03:45:42 pmVery nice story that shows the human side of things. Corbin has been a rival for quite a few years and I certainly don't have any love loss for the team. Some quotes here or there that I haven't loved over the years. This definitely gives a different perspective. I pray for their family and hope that Asher can recover.

Instead of playing the dangerous 8-9 scholarships game. I think the coaches are looking for the "new formula" in the TP/NIL world. In another thread CBS Sports was saying many coaches are going for 11 then the last two spots probably walk-ons. |
