this one

was expected with stan

well it was expected here too.   Its just that beating Texas and OU proved that when we play our best, we can beat anybody in the country.

I mean OU could very well be the #1 team in the country within a week or so, and we manhandled them.    But our lack of depth is really hurting us now
Honor and Integrity no longer exist in the world of college football.  It is only filled with liar's cheater's, and traitors.

It doesn't matter.  Stan was going nowhere and was boring to watch.  We may or may not go anywhere with Pel, but it's not boring.
GO HOGS!!!

At least the basketball team is competing and not getting blown out by 15-20 pts.

Not much you can do when a team hits 16 3's.

The only reason this season seems like a disappointment was b/c we beat Oklahoma and Texas which lifted expectations.  We are still young, inexperienced, and have little depth.  You will never win consistently with those three stacked against you.

Most frustrating since Nolan's first year.  I guess I'll turn off the TV and check back in 2 years for the real "40 Minutes of Pel."  Maybe by then we'll have some Days and Mayberrys.

Stan's and it aint even close for me.
At least Pel acts like he cares if we get beat.
We would still be waiting on Heath to get
his first " T " .
I hate that we suck right now but we have
to build a foundation. Pel may or may not be
the man for the job. Either way, we still have to
build the foundation in order to get back and stay there.

Is this a serious statement?

I think the thing you do when a team hits 16 threes is play better defense! I'm not sure but I think that is correct.

In defense of our 3-pt defense, not all of those shots were wide open. MSU simply made them from everywhere whether open or semi-guarded.

This is the worst conference start at Arkansas since sometime in the 1950s -- nothing more needs to be said.

I disagree, I am no more entertained by watching our kids Sprint it up the court in a losing effort, than walking it up the court in a losing effort. Sure I like up tempo ball, but I also like winning with it. If Heath had been successful with his brand of ball, it would have been embraced, as was Sutton's. At the end of the day, it is about getting that W.

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."
