The only comment I heard was by their HC on the radio was he thinks they will enjoy going to LR and scrimmaging, and it will be easier for some prospects to attend.

While I have not attended a game in over a decade, and probably only a couple of spring games during the same time period i do like to watch a practice/scrimmage or two in spring to see what their team looks like.

I'm more curious about this team than any they have had in a long, long time  because they have the bulk of the  players that contributed to the 9 win season returning, and are are adding the best new talent they have had in recent memory. If the newbies mesh well with their returning players, they could have a very special year in 2016, and probably why ESPN has them on more than any other SBC team.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

They must have tons of money then. There will be a $ cost involved with that travel..........I guess they don't need a Hog game paycheck after all..................................
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

Have not heard anyone discuss if there were any incentives to play there, and obviously they don't need to play the Razorbacks to grow their program.

IMO they feel they finally have their program to the point where they want to put it on display, and feel fans, and recruits  that go watch them in LR will enjoy watching this team, and their style of play on both sides of the ball.

They did get in five practices, one a scrimmage,  before spring break, and the scoop is they are very fast, very athletic, and fun to watch.

Looks like they finally have the depth and size they need.

It is a solid move by A-State to expand their footprint in Central and Southern Arkansas.

Apparently went off well, and had decent attendance.

Players and coaches liked the change in venue, and according to their HC played well, with a lot of' explosive' plays on both sides of the ball.
