In their first game today against South Alabama, UCA's Freshman Pitcher, Connor Gilmore, threw a complete game 4 hit shutout.  Gilmore is now 5-0 this season with a 0.73 ERA.  Last Saturday in their SLC Championship game, he threw a complete game 2 hit shutout against Southeastern Louisiana.  He has made 6 starts this season.  Opposing Teams have a batting average of .165 against Gilmore this season.  Gilmore is from Little Rock, AR.

In their second game today against Mississippi State, UCA's Senior Pitcher, Ethan McKinzie, threw a complete game 4 hitter (Mississippi State did score 2 runs).  Last season in 2012, McKinzie also defeated Mississippi State when he threw 6 scoreless innings against MSU.  McKinzie is from Gravette, AR.
