Peoples got us back in the door for Otha Peters before Taver Johnson took the lead on him and the same on Philon before passing the buck to Caldwell. 

He is going to be a BIG TIME recruiter for us.  You also have to like how every coach on the defensive side of the ball all have reps for being outstanding recruiters- which is a must.  Our offense pretty much sells itself and any shortcomings on talent can- for the most part- be offset by superior scheme, but the defensive side is where you simply can't just out scheme opponents- you have to have the talent.  For example- Kirby Smart couldn't have taken our D last year and turned it into a dominant D and Willy could have still had Bama's D as one of the top 5 units in the country

Oh- and Peoples had our DT's playing like everyone thought they would be playing all season in the Cotton Bowl.  He was putting DL in the league at Ark St- so you know the man can coach.

We seriously upgraded our recruiting staff on the defensive side of the ball.  We also got our staff on that side now coaching at the positions they are the best at.  I am excited to see the results both on and off the field

We have to sign at least 3 DT's, preferrably one being a JC (like Combs).  We will have 3 seniors and 2 Jr's at DT next year, and have only signed 3 the past 2 years (though someone like Wise may eventually end up inside as Arkadie did).   We definately should be selling these kids on early playing time simply by showing them the depth chart/roster

DaMarcus Hodge- he was one of the 3 we signed the last 2 years from the HS ranks along with Arkadie and Philon
