Kind of an unknown???

Thoughts? Obviously the Dubai angle hasn't worked in recent years, but the Derby does have that open feel about it. I know his last trip to the States didn't result in a win.  And I know he'd probably prefer turf.... But losing by a head at 9.5 off the bench isn't embarassing.

Is there anything in his breeding that says he'd run well on dirt?

Those on the dosage points angle he does have 56 points.  I think that's the highest of the top money getters.

Who knows with this one? O'Brien is a top horseman but he (like most all Europeans) doesn't really have a feel as to how to get one ready for this race. One prep race isn't really a way to get a horse ready for 10F in a 20 horse field PLUS having the extra burden of shipping across the pond. I think he may be talented down the line but I don't think he's for me in this one.

He's sl;ow and doesn't have an ounce of dirt in his pedigree. if this one beats me I will just tip my hat. They just don't want to face frankel who is the uncle mo of europe right now
