2 person Kayaks.......any suggestions?

My daughter did a science camp on Navarre Island and loved going out in the kayaks.  So, naturally, she now wants a kayak.  Of course, I've been eyeing one for a while myself.  It would be strictly for recreation, no fishing.  Would prefer sit on rather than sit in kayaks.  Do any of you guys/gals have suggestions on something that is good for a taller (6'2") person, stable and comfortable without breaking the bank?
