This is killer! Looking at our future opponents, we could easily be a 2 or 3 seed with a 12-6 SEC record. The SEC is very tough at the top.

Boy ole miss is really goin to drag us down. Whats wrong with baldie?

You're logic is correct, but 12-6 is going to be real tough this year. A lot of good teams makes the SEC much improved
I'd rather be dead than be a Vol

In conference, what would be the 6 loses...In your opinion?

Agreed. Conference schedule is looking tough this year. Funny timing with us in an up year. Can't wait to see how the conference slate plays out.
Success isn't permanent and failure isn't fatal.

ESPN needs to update their resume page to reflect the changes voted on by the selection committee.  The NCAA is no longer using "vs Top 50" or "vs Top 100" as metrics.  They have a new system this year, which places much more emphasis on whether the game was played at home, on the road, or at a neutral site.

The system is now:

Quadrant 1:  Home vs 1-30, Neutral vs 1-50, Road vs 1-75.
Quadrant 2:  Home vs 31-75, Neutral vs 51-100, Road vs 76-135
Quadrant 3:  Home vs 76-150, Neutral vs 100-200, Road vs 136-240
Quadrant 4:  Everyone else

Our current resume looks like:

vs Quadrant 1:  1-2 (Oklahoma, UNC, and Houston)
vs Quadrant 2:  1-0 (Minnesota)
vs Quadrant 3:  3-0 (Fresno State, Colorado State, and Connecticut)
vs Quadrant 4:  3-0 (Bucknell, Samford, and Troy)

It's going to be confusing at first and take some getting used to, but this is what teams' resumes will look like this year.

Thanks for this. Have to keep this in mind as we move into conference play.
