Diamond Hogs Survive Storm Scare; Win Ole Miss Series

 The Diamond Hogs finally won an SEC baseball series but they had to survive an early Thursday morning scare on their way back from Memphis to make it to the playing field against Ole Miss. Arkansas' team bus was motoring across the state after a 7-3 win over Memphis when it ran into a storm front.  "Anybody that was sleeping pretty much woke up," head coach Dave Van Horn recalled, "and that bus driver was holding onto that wheel with two hands and I was right there asking him if he needed some help."

"We were playing a card game in the back so I was up," sophomore reliever Zach Jackson added. "I couldn't tell if the bus driver saw something in the road or if it was really that windy outside. It got a little bit scary."
