Creighton enters regional play as the No. 2 seed and ranked 20 th in the nation after topping then-No. 12 Wichita State, 10-9, for its first Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title last Saturday in Springfield, Mo.

The strength of the Bluejays squad is pitching and defense. Waiting for the big inning isn't the best idea against Creighton. The Bluejays have allowed just three home runs in their last 28 games, while outscoring opponents 41-12.
