Nothing special about height/weight -- 6'4 without shoes, 6'5 with and 200 lbs.

But had a combine low 4% body fat.

Good job, Mike.

Yeah, 6'4" w/o shoes and 6'5" w/ shoes isn't out of the ordinary for NBA SGs.  And with a 7'1" wingspan he can defend both SGs and SFs.  Maybe not SFs as effectively, but having a 7'0"+ wingspan at 6'4"-6'5" will definitely allow him to play/defend quite a bit bigger than his actual height.

Draft Express shows his wingspan as 7'0.25". His standing reach is 8'8.5", his hand length at 9" and his hand width at 10.25". That's pretty impressive for a 6'4" guy.

Bobby Portis measured 6'9.5" with a 7'2" wingspan and a reach of 9'0.5", and hand length of 9.5" and hand width at 9 25"

Is Ky Madden on any draft boards, or is he going to have to work through the NBDL ranks?

Ky has other things outside of basketball he should take care of before he even thinks about the NBA.

Qualls had a 39.5" vertical at the combine.

It will be interesting to see how Qualls adjusts to the NBA game as a SF. A few weeks ago, many were comparing him to some SF's in the game that stand and weigh around 6'7" 240lb.

At 6'5", 200lbs, and a SF's skill set, I worry about how he will do in the league.

he's on the blue team bench at the combine...ESPN2

His 39.5 vertical was tied for 5th in the field of those performing in testing.

Qualls hurt his hip, and was unable to play yesterday. He hopes to play today.

On the ESPN ticker they had him listed with the SG's. If he could work on his handle and get that shot down he could most definitely play in the NBA. A 6-4 SG with a 7' wingspan and 40" vertical would be a nightmare to defend or have him defending you?!?

As with a lot of prospects he's got the athletic and measurements he just needs to be more focused on being a 2 and developing a unrelenting D. Look at Patrick Beverly, he's not a great offensive threat just such a nuisance.

It looks to me that Qualls will be in the D-league for a year or two getting better then putting the work in to be a fantastic bench/role player that comes in with intense defense and attacking the rim.

6'4" isn't that big for a SG. His wingspan is what is great, though.

He would be one of the shorter SGs compared to quality SGs currently in the league. Most of the best are 6'6"-6'7" and 10-15lbs heavier than Qualls.

I think Qualls will end up in Europe where he'll make a fortune. If he develops his outside shot and ball handling skills he could be back in the NBA in two or three years.

Qualls is going to get drafted. From what I've seen the Sixers and Warriors have a lot of interest in him

He's flying up boards right now.  Rumors have him as being a potential pick in the 40s-to-the-mid of the 2nd round.

He may yet come out of this smelling like roses.   Good job, by a good kid, of using the pre-draft process to really help himself.

Getting drafted doesn't mean you make the NBA. I don't see him getting drafted high enough to get a guaranteed contract. However, he is certainly improving his stock drastically. Hopefully he continues to jump.

6'5" 200 lbs,  4% body fat, long wing span, big hands, outside shot has improved. If he works on his handle he will have a  good career in the NBA. Mike has improved every year since his freshmen year. This kid is a warrior, he will not be denied. Patrick Beverly has the same mentality.
I love off season Football!!

King Kong

Wish him nothing but the best. He has an amazing work ethic. His improvement from his freshman year to now has been impressive
